Securing IM Tips from Spam

Yahoo Messenger is a chat tool that most users today. In addition because of its relatively simple interface, users are also more varied that YM is widely used as a means to stay updated with your friends and our clients. But unfortunately, this facility is also used by spammers and people with fraudulent intent and purpose.

To avoid this, here are a few tips on how to secure the YM from spam.

Do this:

• Of IM chat client, click Messenger> Preferences
• Click the Ignore List from the left panel
• Click the option "ignore anyone Who is not in my messenger list" if you want to block IM from someone other than you have in the list of our friends in the messenger list.
• Or click the option "ignore only the people below" if you want to block certain YM ID.
• If you want to add YM ID you want blocked, click the "ADD", then enter the ID you want blocked.
• Once finished, click OK.
