Practical way that is safe enough to hide a file or folder is by changing the properties file or folder to be hidden. It in fact, generally the option "do not show hidden files and folders" is enabled so that hidden files and folders remain invisible.
How to hide files or folders that are safer ?
Here's tips and tricks on it:
- Click Start> Run
- Type cmd Click Ok or enter
- Type attrib + h + s "address file or folder you want dihidden". Press enter. Example: attrib + s + h "d: \ collection miyabi" or attrib + s + h "d: \ miyabihot.zip"
File or folder will not appear in Windows Explorer unless the user's computer to disable the option "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)", see picture above. Rarely does a fad usually disable it .. hehehe
