How to Chatting on YM

Yahoo! Messenger is a free instant messaging client provided by Yahoo . Although many software instant messaging client to another, YM! relatively more widely used, especially for beginners because its operation is relatively simple and is full of features. So many other IM users with social backgrounds very diverse chat using Yahoo Messenger makes it very enjoyable.

Although it's been so popular in the community, there may still be some of our colleagues who do not know how to chat on YM!. For those who do not know or just nostalgia, please continue reading this article. To use this facility, we first need to download and install this software on our computer. For Internet cafe users do not need to be confused because almost all the cafes are providing this software. For those who do not have this software, please download YM Indonesian version in here .

To start a chat, we have to run this software and log in using your yahoo ID that we got. Enter your Yahoo ID (bisa@yahoo.com, @ yahoo.co.id, @ ymail or rocketmail @) on Yahoo ID field, enter the password in the password field. For those who do not have a yahoo ID, no way the list here .

If you are using IM in the cafe, at work or in other public places, you should uncheck the "remember my ID & password" and "sign in automatically." Because if it is not removed, your ID and password will be saved and there is the possibility of computer users next they will be able to log into your IM accounts without having to enter the password again.

After that, press the "sign." When you correct ID and password, then you will go to the main page of Yahoo Messenger. There is a list of friends that you have added.

From the picture above, it appears there are 2 friends who were active from 10 friends in your "buddies", is seen from the figures (2/10) who were behind "buddies." Friends who actively looks of the picture next to his name is not grayed out.

If you want to directly send messages to friends ID that you know, click the "Action"> "Send an instant message" or ctrl + M. Click the tab "Other Contact", type in your friend's ID, and then click OK. Type a message, then press the "send" or press enter.

If you want to put your friend ID friends list, click on the "+" on your toolbar YM. Fill Messenger ID or email address of your colleagues in the column above or you can also select it from your yahoo account address book.

If you do not also have a friend, or a friend who is active at the moment, try to get into the chat room. There you will meet many people who were active at that time and you can easily get acquainted with them.

The trick is to click the "messenger"> "yahoo! chat ">" join room. 'If you want to find friends who both come from Indonesia or the Indonesian language, click the + sign in the category of "regional" and select Indonesia. Choose one area. Each region has a room, you can select one of them.

Sign [XX] [WX] behind masing2 room shows the number of people who are in the room and the number of people using the webcam. The capacity of each room is 50, so select the room with the number [XX] under 50. Do not be a 0 or too little, you'll be lonely there .. hehehe ..

Click one of the room of your choice, the next box will appear "connecting to yahoo chat". Press the "enter chat." Before you can get into the room, you have to click the link verifying that the captcha is there. After that enter the captcha symbol that appears to the field below and click submit. If captcha you entered is correct and the room is not full, you will go directly to the chat room page and you can start participating in the room. As early maybe you can say hello or how the strings attached.

If you want mojok or to communicate privately with one of the members of the room, select one of the room on the right hand column, then right click, click "send an instant message." Type your message in the message field and click "send" or enter.

If you are lucky, the person you are sending the message to reply. If not reciprocated, too, try to select another wrote. Just like that why bother hehehe ..

If you enjoy a chat with the person and want to continue the chat the other day, add him as one of your friends by clicking the "+ (add)." If you're lucky again, the person will immediately have added you and you can know each other online status of each.

Well, now you've started to have a friend of savings. By the time you are online, you can know the status of your temen2 online by looking at the main page as described above, and you can contact your friends it by double clicking on the name of your friend. If you want to contact your friend and when it is not online, you can leave offline messages in the same way. The message will read your friend when he is online.
